Growing up in a dysfunctional family means you had to learn to survive the moods & unhealthy behaviors of those closest to you... that shapes everything about you & it can't be undone in a single day. At the same time, it doesn't have to take forever either.

understanding doesn't change the pattern if you don't have real tools that allow you to feel safe enough to come out of survival. You've spent YEARS building your ways of coping & managing the stress of your trauma and for something to change... you have to feel safe enough to make new choices.

This is probably not your first go at having coaching or therapy & I LOVE that. It means that you already have an understanding of your story & how your trauma shaped you but something still feels like it's just not clicking & you notice because you don't feel the way you want to feel.

That's typical. 

The reality is traditional modalities can only get you so far because they never included what happens in your nervous system when you're constantly stuck in survival & can't get away from toxic family. They also tend to be more "talk" based which means you tell your story over and over again with no real guidance on what to do next or how to handle your family.

This is real coaching based in somatic training (how your nervous system responds) to childhood & family trauma. Real advice, real tools & practices to build more safety in your body so you can finally process things in a way that helps you feel safe enough to set boundaries, be at ease (instead of living in anxiety or stress) & choose your own wellbeing without being worried about everyone's response.
